New Distribution Partner in EU and UK

After a successful initial period of retailing StemCAPtain through its site, Cyclorise has now secured a distribution agreement with the Colorado-based top-cap brand for the UK and Europe to join their growing range of niche bicycle accessories.

The top caps feature machined aluminium clocks, thermometers, compasses, Garmin mounts and bottle openers, and can be fitted by simply replacing the existing top cap.

Cyclorise Owner Thomas Dibley said: “We’re so pleased to welcome StemCAPtain into our range. The quality and pure functionality of the model line is unique and suits what we are aiming to achieve with our brand portfolio - high-quality accessories that serve a real purpose and are not rivalled elsewhere in the market.”

Mike Hogan of StemCAPtain HQ in Colorado, added: “StemCAPtain is very excited to partner with Cyclorise to officially represent our brand in Europe and the UK. During a successful trial period, the Cyclorise Team has demonstrated an excellent ability to market our products to our growing customer base in the EU. We look forward to a strong partnership with Cyclorise going forward and introducing more innovative cycling products to the EU and UK.”

About Us

Russ & Tina Hoefer - Founders

As a competitor in triathlons and marathons during the 80’s and 90’s, Russ enjoyed the endurance aspect of these sports. But as often happen with age, his knees started creating problems for his running, so it was back to the bike with Tina joining him. The more they rode, the more they learned about great cycling regions and tours from friends and other bike riders. The idea for BikeTourFinder finally came about while Russ and Tina were showing friends and business associates their pictures from a Ride The Rockies Tour. People loved the pictures and learning about the trip, but didn’t know how to find bike vacations themselves. No one aggregated rides and tours objectively, and the existing sites were boring or just lists.

As owners of a successful tourism publishing company with a combined 55+ years of travel and publishing experience in industries ranging from high tech and computer games to corporate investing, they have the knowledge and passion for what cycling enthusiasts are looking for, whether it is a casual wine tasting vacation, or a grueling training camp. Enjoy the site.

New products in the works. Look for the Garmin stem cap attachment release in the next couple of months. We’ve been testing it and getting good feedback. Now you can attach your Garmin Edge series GPS directly to your stem cap!

Spring Update

We haven't had time to post in awhile. Between getting flooded last fall, moving our shop back to Boulder, CO and a torrent of interest stemming from this excellent review on Pinkbike, we have been pretty busy!

Hope everyone is as psyched for spring riding as we are. The snow thaw cycle has yielded the trails unrideable around Boulder, but we are getting really close. I think a long weekend in Moab is in order very soon. Can't wait to try out the new Turner Burner 27.5 that I was lucky enough to have Santa leave under the tree. It's gonna be a good year!
